RELEASE

The international, athletic event of the XXVIIIth Olympic Games, carried out this year in Athens, compels us to revise our initial planning for the organization of the 4th International Meeting of University Theatre in Olympia. This was judged necessary because the dates of our event coincide with those of the Olympic Games. The entire country lives in the rhythm of the Olympic Games and of course so does Olympia, cradle of the Ancient Olympic Games, where this year the contest of shot put will be held. Also, despite our effort to change the dates of our organization, this was not possible because most of the theatre groups had already arranged other performances.

The YOUTH PLAN wishes good luck for this year's presentations to the university groups, the theatre academies and the independent faculties and groups of students and it binds itself to announce in time the dates for the 4th International Meeting of University Theatre in Olympia, that will be carried out the summer of 2005.
