"The Flea", by Dimitris Spyrou

"Flea" is the name of a handwritten newspaper published and edited by a 12-year-old student, Ilias Silaidis, in an isolated mountain village in Olympia. However, "the flea" is also Ilias himself, because he is so closely identified with his newspaper, that no one calls him by his name any more. As his writes in one of his newspaper editions: "The flea is a dream, the journeys I want to make; it is the shattering of my village borders, the wings that help me fly away".
